Campitos Turquoise comes from the Campitos mine in Sonora, Mexico. The mine has been producing turquoise since the 1980s and is known worldwide for its vivid blue color, often compared to the famous Sleeping Beauty turquoise. Campitos turquoise ranges from soft light blue and medium blue to vibrant blue-green shades. Many stones contain traces of natural pyrite, adding beautiful sparkle and character. Some material may also display spiderweb patterns with delicate brown or black matrix lines. Unlike many turquoise deposits found in rock veins, Campitos turquoise is discovered as free-form nuggets in clay material, making it especially unique.
