this is an amazing opal with a lot of very bright color play, even in very low light. this opal can be placed in the shadows and still has color flashing all over the surface.the way the red and orange with a little yellow mix together is considered a fire flash,looking very much like the flames in a fire.very desirable and considered more valuable.Old stock opals hand cut no fractures.the camera barely did this stone justice.the colors are much clearer and brighter in real life.
